An Extraordinary General Meeting [EGM] has been scheduled for WEDNESDAY 11th
FEBRUARY 2015 to elect a new Chairperson after our current Chair has recently
resigned. Please see notices up at Preschool or talk to a member of staff if
you are interested in joining the PreSchool Committee. Committee Role

- Session opening times: Arrival 9.10am, Collection time 12.10pm
Monday - Friday mornings, 3.10 Friday afternoon
- Sessions still available: especially Monday AM and Friday PM.

At Maulden Pre-School we pride ourselves on offering
children a welcoming and happy environment during their pre-school years.
Established over 50 years ago in 1961, we dedicate ourselves to ensuring your
child makes a smooth transition into school.
Please take special care when driving and parking
outside the Pre-School.
By providing a safe and warm environment we give children the confidence to
learn through play. We allow free-flow play inside and outside all year round
where your childs individual learning experiences will be encouraged
through a wide variety of activities.
We are set in a quiet central part of the village, overlooking beautiful
fields. The children can play in a gated courtyard which is constantly
supervised. We have a dedicated team of qualified NVQ 3 and 4 staff who have
been with the Pre-School for a number of years. One of the Preschools strengths
is that our Staff team is static gathering experience and are all very well
qualified along-side caring.
We are a committee based, sessional Pre-School with most committee posts taken
up by parents and feed into Maulden Lower school.
We follow the
Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
curriculum and are regulated by
Ofsted. Each child's progress is monitored by their
Key Worker to ensure each child is meeting the key targets for their age. For
parents of children currently in the Pre-School you should be able to find all
